Redistribution of Legislative Council Electoral Boundaries

Quota of electors

For the purposes of the Legislative Council redistribution commencing 24 August 1998 I determine that the Quota of electors for the State is 21,986.

In accordance with Section 12 of the Legislative Council Electoral Boundaries Act 1995, I have ascertained the number of electors enrolled by reference in the State as at Friday 25 September 1998, being 329,783.

This number has been divided by fifteen (15), being the number of members of the Legislative Council. The result has been rounded to the nearest whole number.
